The National Adaptation Plan traces the road map for Palestine's adaptation strategy for climate change by 1) Assessing historic trends in climate (temperature, rainfull, etc.), 2) Identifying high prirority sectors (the top four being Agriculture, Coastal & Marine, Industry and Food 3) Projecting possible future scenarios and identifying adaptation measures to achieve the best possible scenario. The Plan also reviews Palestine's requirements for the immediate and late future and suggests a framework for monitoring and evaluation of progress. It concludes by highlighting the next steps for the country namely seeking funds from international donors or financial institutions, reviewing sectoral/thematic strategies, reviewing data requirements for monitoroing and evaluation, implementing adaption measures, and capacity building.
