Nigeria's National Agricultural Technology and Innovation Policy 2022-2027 aims to promote technological enhancement of the agricultural sector, to improve productivity and resilience in the medium-term. A key component of this is the introduction and expansion of climate-smart agricultural practices. This includes digital systems to collect, analyse and distribute data, including climatic data, early warning systems and insurance services. It also includes directly physical interventions such as the deployment of water storage and distribution infrastructure.
