National Strategy for Sustainable Socio- Economic Development of the Republic of Belarus until 2030 (resolution 10/2017) and concept with a view on 2035

This strategy was adopted by the Executive Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (minutes of the meeting on May 2, 2017, No. 10). It promotes a wide range of environmental measures. It notably seeks to boost the use of renewable energy sources, reduce emissions of toxic waste, and rationally use forest land. 

In 2018, the government released the Concept of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Republic of Belarus for the period up to 2035.
