National Strategy for Agricultural and Rural Development (NSARD/SNDAR) for the years 2023-2030

2014AdaptationPolicyStrategyMore details
Sectors: Agriculture, Energy

The 2014-2020 iteration of the National Strategy for Agricultural and Rural Development aims to ensure a sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture. This should notably be done by increasing the use of renewable energy resources in the sector, and by reducing the vulnerability of crop productions to climate change.

Moldova's NSARD for 2023-2030 also emphasises the importance of climate change adaptation and mitigation, with measures for capacity building, impact/vulnerability reporting systems and technological modernisation in the agricultural sector.
