This plan outlines fifteen potential GHG mitigation opportunities - nine of which in the transport sector and six of which in energy efficiency sector – and estimated financing sources. The opportunities identified in the transport system include bicycle/e-bike financing initiative, biofuels blends in land and maritime transport, multi-model transit initiatives, electric vehicle network development, whole of lifecycle vehicle program, and land transport infrastructure upgrade for non-motorized transport. The opportunities identified in the energy efficiency sector include strengthening and expanding the standards and labelling programme for appliances, and capacity building for integrated energy planning and energy statistics.
