This approves the Climate Change Policy Framework 2016 and 2017 and the document of Support Program to Respond to Climate Change (SP-RCC) for the period 2016-2020. The main objectives of the Climate Change Policy Framework 2016 and 2017 are the following: 1) preparedness to respond to natural disaster and monitor climate; 2) to ensure water and food security in climate change conditions; 3) preparedness to respond to rising sea and natural disaster risks; 4) sustainable forest management and development; 5) reduce GHG emissions during socio-economic development process; 6) building capacity of the governmental agencies to respond to climate change; 7) diversify financial resources and increase investment efficiency in climate change; etc. The general objectives of the SP-RCC are to support the formulation and implementation of strategies, policies and programs to respond to the negative impacts of climate change in the country.
