Poland’s CAP Strategic Plan (Plan strategiczny WPR 2023-2027) is the country’s national implementation of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy for 2023-27, approved by the European Commission on 31 August 2022. It aims to support sustainable development of Polish farms and rural areas, boosting farm income, competitiveness, innovation and risk management, while placing strong emphasis on environmental and climate protection, including measures to improve water management, reduce greenhouse gas and ammonia emissions, protect soil, air and biodiversity, and promote sustainable energy and resource use. The plan also fosters social and economic activation in rural areas and the spread of innovation and digital solutions throughout agriculture.
