Summary
This Presidential Decree approves the Strategic Plan for New Environmental Technologies. This Plan aims at protecting, preserving and conserving environmental quality standards, controlling environmental pollution as well as conservation areas, including the valorisation of natural heritage its preservation and rational use of renewable natural resources. It explicitly takes into consideration the commitments assumed by Angola within the UNFCCC. It calls for the implementation of environmental technologies which can optimize the use of natural resources, energy efficiency and promote sustainable development.
