This decree aims to establish the regulatory provisions for the application of Law No. 1210, the General Tourism Law. It structures the organisation of the INTUR, the national organism, which, among other things, is the one responsible to plan the country’s tourism development in a coordinated and organized manner, working with local governments, institutions, and sector stakeholders to promote sustainable, responsible, and accessible tourism.
