Pakistan's Resilient Recovery, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Framework (4RF) responds to the 2022 floods and their severe impacts nationally, to create a framework for long-term recovery and future preparedness in the economy and society. It aims for the long-term response to these floods to become a key element of Pakistan's climate resilience. Across sectors, the framework calls for capacity building, while also promoting a few key areas such as mechanisms for direct cash transfers to affected communities, planning regulations for floodplains, and the need for more resilient agricultural land use.
