The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) developed this document to set a direction for transition toward achieving carbon neutrality in 2050 for GHG-intensive industries. The roadmap is expected to assist financial institutions in determining whether a company's strategies and initiatives toward decarbonisation qualify for transition finance when the company raises funds.
