The 7th Strategic Energy Plan

This plan, established under Japan's Basic Act on Energy Policy, outlines the overall directions for Japan’s energy policies. In conjunction with the GX2040 Vision and the Plan for Global Warming Countermeasures, both of which were also approved by Cabinet on February 18, 2025, the Japanese government will strive to achieve stable energy supply, economic growth, and decarbonization simultaneously.
