- The Energy Regulations Act (Chapter 436)
This Act establishes an Energy Regulation Board and define its functions and powers. It provides for the licensing of undertakings for the production of energy or the production or handling of certain fuels. It repeals the National Energy Council Act and the Zambia Electricity Supply Act. The board is notably in charge of formulating measures to minimise the environmental impact of energy systems. Nuclear, solar and wind resources are taken into account.
