The Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation (TGO) is a public organisation that was established by the Royal Decree establishing the TGO under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.  The primary objective of the TGO is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs) in Thailand, with specific objectives for promoting the market for greenhouse gas emissions trading, functioning as an information hub for GHG-related activities, and the creation of a comprehensive database for projects and approved greenhouse gas emissions trading activities, in accordance with the policies determined by the national board.

The TGO committee can consider and approve projects under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). To apply for a certified project under the CDM, the applicant must submit an initial environmental impact assessment report along with the application. If the project falls within the designated scope, an environmental impact analysis must be conducted in accordance with the Enhancement and Conservation of the National Environment Quality Act B.E. 2535 (1992) (ECNEQA).
