<p>It regulates article 33 of Law 19355/2015 creating the National Environmental System and taks it with strengthening, articulating and coordinating national public policies in the areas of environment, water and climate change. The decree notably charges the newly created institution to design policies to strenghten adaptation to climate change, generate related information, promote education.</p>
