The aim of the programme is to co-finance projects intended to reduce the use of emission fuels in public transport through the acquisition/leasing of new electric buses using electricity accumulated by connection to an external power source or using electricity generated from hydrogen for propulsion, the acquisition/leasing of new trolleybuses, as well as the training of drivers/mechanics in the operation of emission-free vehicles, the modernisation or construction of infrastructure, including hydrogen charging or refuelling points. The infrastructure is used exclusively for the operation of public transport.
