This document was redacted by the Ministry of Trade and provides a strategy for achieving a green shift in all sectors of the economy. It further seeks to put Turkey in line with the EU's Green Deal

  • In addition, it is aimed to improve and develop railway infrastructure between the EU and Turkey, conduct studies to declare the Mediterranean Sea as a Sulphur Emission Control Area, reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the maritime sector and promote green shipping alternatives, promote alternative fuel vehicles and develop related refuelling/charging infrastructure, amongst other transport sector targets.
