In addition, it is aimed to improve and develop railway infrastructure between the EU and Turkey, conduct studies to declare the Mediterranean Sea as a Sulphur Emission Control Area, reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the maritime sector and promote green shipping alternatives, promote alternative fuel vehicles and develop related refuelling/charging infrastructure, amongst other transport sector targets.
