This Strategy was first published in 2019 and then refreshed in 2024. It sets a vision for a clean, innovative, safe and competitive hydrogen industry and aims to position the country as a major player by 2030. New policies including the Hydrogen Production Tax Incentive and an expanded Hydrogen Headstart program, position Australia as one of the best places in the world to make green hydrogen.
