The Climate Strategy develops a pathway to reach Austria's commitments under the Kyoto Protocol (a reduction in GHG emissions of 13% by 2012, based on 1990 levels). To meet Austria's obligations under the second commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol 2008-2012 the Strategy focuses on our key areas: energy, transport, and agriculture. There is also an evaluation of the economic consequences of these measures.
