This Act establishes the Conservation and Climate Adaptation Trust of Seychelles for the purpose of regulating debt swap transactions.

The Act mandates that the Trust must develop and administer the Endowment Fund, the Revolving Fund and the Additional Endowment Fund, and any other sources of funding; administer the assets of the Trust, intended to provide a sustainable flow of funds which supplements existing and future funds from any sources to enable the Trust to support the long-term management and expansion of the Seychelles system of protected areas and other activities which contribute substantially to the conservation, protection and maintenance of biodiversity and the adaptation to the climate change as identified through consultations with stakeholders; and perform exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes.

The Act further details the organisation and composition of the Trust.
