The Electricity Supply Business Plan (Rencana Usaha Penyediaan Tenaga Listrik, RUPTL) prioritises development of new renewable energy (Green RUPTL), implementation of minimum energy performance standards for appliances, as well as the development of new renewable energy in Indonesia. Regarding renewables, the RUPTL plans for the 23% share from renewables in 2025 as dictated by the 2014 National Energy Policy. It also emphasises that in 2025 the role of oil will be less than 25%, coal will be at least 30%, and natural gas will be at least 22%.
