This law regulates 1) the obligation to produce a certificate of overall energy efficiency (energy performance certificate) for the sale, rental or lease of buildings and property, and 2) the content, issue and publication of the energy passport. It transposes Directive 2002/91/EC. It applies to newly constructed and existing buildings.
