Summary

This law aims at fostering the development of renewable energy sources through economic and regulatory incentives. It promotes innovation and new technologies for the production of electricity and heat from renewable energy sources. It seeks to reduce imports of organic fuels and reduce greenhouse gases emissions.



The law also transposes Directive 2009/28/EC. It was repealed by law 7/2017.
