This Law aims at updating the Andorran energy legislation to reflect new challenges including objectives of GHG emissions reductions, and subsequent rise in renewables. Art. 1 notably modifies Art. 2 from the Law creating the FEDA administration so that its mission are the following: a) The production of electrical energy. b) The importation of electrical energy. c) The distribution of electrical energy, either directly to the users, or to other distribution companies. d) The realization of activities for the collection of electricity and useful heat, and the trigeneration of electricity, cold and useful heat, and the commercialization and distribution of cold and heat resulting. e) The purchase of electrical energy produced by other natural or legal persons within Andorra through renewable energy. "
