This law notably aims to prioritise the production and use of energy from renewable sources.

Article 81.4.a.b) states that suppliers must inform end customers about information source presenting data on the environmental impact of carbon dioxide and radioactive waste emitted during the production of electricity provided by the supplier in the previous year.
