This law aims to prevent pollution from industrial activities to water, air and soil. However, it has a special section on geological storage of CO2 that stipulates all combustion plant operators with electrical output of 300MW and above to have suitable storage sites, transport facilities, have technical capacity to capture and compress CO2.
