Law on the use of energy from renewable sources

This Law stipulates that the share of energy from renewable sources in the total final energy consumption are to be determined by the National Energy and Climate Plan of Montenegro (NECP). Incentives shall be allocated based on general energy policy guidelines, the NECP and obligations under intenrational agreements. The assessment of impacts of incentives on the electricity market and on investments in the electicity are to be carried out once every four years after the adoption of the NECP, and the assessment is to be used for the updating of the NECP.
