The law includes provisions on the duties of the state in the field of using renewable energy sources in the production of electricity; state support for the use of renewable energy sources in electricity production; areas of renewable energy sources; designation of a land as an area of renewable energy sources; selection of a producer for the production of electricity in the area of renewable energy sources; active consumer support mechanism; support for scientific research; technical and organizational requirements and information in the field of using renewable energy sources in electricity production; certificate on the source of electricity produced from renewable energy sources; authorization for the production of electricity; and the rights and obligations in the field of using renewable energy sources in electricity production.
