Long-term Climate Strategy

This strategy is mandated by Chile's Framework Law on Climate Change. It sets out the country's mitigation and adaptation goals to comply with international commitments. It seeks to increase the share of renewable energy to 65% in 2025 and 80% of the general energy supply in 2030. Furthermore, it seeks to reduce emissions in the mining sector by 40% and in the transport sector by 40% by 2025.
