This Strategy aims to guarantee healthy, sustainable, and accessible food for all by 2030, based on an interministerial approach. Its goal is to build a sustainable food system that ensures food security and nutrition for all without compromising the economic, social, and environmental foundations necessary to guarantee food security and nutrition for future generations.
The four key areas are:
- Ensuring coordinated governance of policies related to food, health and the environment at all levels and act at the territorial level;
- Guaranteeing access for all to quality and sustainable food and nutrition environments;
- Supporting sustainable and healthy and environmentally friendly behaviors and diets; and
- Developing research, expertise and evaluation for a transition of food systems.
