National Waste Policy 2018-2023

The goal of this policy is to manage waste sustainably in order to protect the integrity of the environment and improve quality of life. It charges the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change to encourage waste reduction and recovery strategies, strengthen its institutional and legal framework, and upgrade waste operations in line with international practices.
