Under Law No. 4 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector, this Regulation establishes the responsibilities of the Financial Services Authority to oversee the implementation of Indonesia's domestic carbon market. It establishes guidelines on the issuance, generation, trading, and monitoring of emissions certificates and offset carbon credits, to be traded domestically or internationally, in either compliance or voluntary carbon markets.
