Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP)

The Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP), formerly known as the Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program (PUVMP) seeks to transform the public transport sector. It entails replacing old vehicles such as jeepneys and buses with eco-friendly alternatives. The programme aims at refleeting of old, dilapidated PUVs with environment-friendly PUVs compliant with Philippine National Standards (PNS) and equipped with Euro IV or better engines and other safety engineering features.
