Supreme Decree 5208, authorising a funding increase for the programme “Climate Change Adaptation through Watershed, Forest, and Disaster Risk Management and Governance"

This Supreme Decree authorises the Ministry of Environment and Water to increase budget allocations for Consultants and Product Consultancies for the programme "Climate Change Adaptation through Watershed, Forest, and Disaster Risk Management and Governance". This measure is according to the constitutional mandate (Article 373) establishing water as a fundamental right for life under the framework of people's sovereignty, and aims to promote sectoral leadership in implementing programmes and projects related to forest and watershed preservation, while ensuring adequate service in protected areas
