2023AdaptationPolicyProgrammeMore details
Sectors: Cross Cutting Area

This Programme consolidates policies and actions to address the climate change risks and opportunities identified in the third Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA3), as section 58 of the Climate Change Act 2008 requires. This programme covers England and non-devolved functions across the UK. It emphasises climate action in key areas, such as: infrastructure; natural environment; health, communities and built environment; business and industry; international impacts; adaptation reporting power and supporting evidence. The programme is organised around the themes of "action", "information", and "coordination" to provide for a comprehensive approach to adapt to climate change by ensuring that government actions are more targeted, informed, and well-coordinated over the five-year NAP period.
