Summary

The Warm Homes Plan will tackle fuel poverty, helping up to one million households out of fuel poverty by 2030 through public investment and new minimum energy efficiency standards for private and social landlords. With this plan and our choice to expand the WHD to almost 3 million additional households in need this winter, this government is taking decisive action to drive down fuel poverty.Solar panels, insulation, batteries, and heat pumps can all save families hundreds of pounds a year. Home upgrades are therefore one of the quickest and best ways to cut the cost of living permanently.
