Extended Producer Responsibility Act (RA 11898)

<p>This Act institutionalises extended producer responsibility on plastic packaging waste, amending the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000. This Act contains provisions to reduce non-environment friendly products; and implement product waste recovery programmes. It obliges product producers which are large enterprises to recover plastic packaging progressively over the years and up to 80% by 31 December 2008.</p>

Climate change can increase the frequency and severity of some geohazards, such as landslides, and soil erosion.

Fossil gas, commonly known as natural gas, is a fossil fuel consisting chiefly of methane with smaller amounts of other hydrocarbons and trace gases, found in underground deposits.
