The Decree establishes the National Authority for Implementation of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) developed in co-ordination with the UNDP. This Authority is chaired by the Minister of Environment while the Undersecretary of Climate Change is in charge of implementing the registry. The NAMA registration is compulsory and is part of the National Environment Information System.
