Energy Transition Policy (CONPES 4075)
Summary
The general objective of the policy is to consolidate the energy transition process through the formulation and implementation of intersectoral actions and strategies that promote the country's economic, energy, technological, environmental and social growth in order to advance towards its energy transformation.This policy contains four strategic axes with the aim of (i) increasing energy security; (ii) encouraging knowledge and innovation in energy transition; (iii) generating greater competitiveness and economic development from the energy sector; and (iv) developing an energy system with low GHG emissions to reduce the effects of climate change.
