The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in Ghana and mitigate climate change and contamination of water bodies by prohibiting the manufacture, importation and sale of incandescent filament lamps.

Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Refrigerating Appliances) Regulations, 2022

These Regulations promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in Ghana, mitigating climate change by providing for minimum energy performance standards, the labelling of and supplementary product information on electric mains-operated refrigerating appliances, and the registration of models of refrigerating appliances. The labelling will indicate the 'climate class' of the refrigerating appliance. The Regulations also prohibit the manufacture, importation, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of a refrigerating appliance that does not meet the stipulated minimum energy performance standards.

Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Clothes Washing Machines) Regulations, 2022

The purpose of these Regulations is to promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in Ghana and mitigate climate change by providing for the minimum energy performance standards, the labelling of and supplementary product information on electric mains-operated clothes washing machines, and the registration of models of such machines. The manufacture, importation, offer for sale, sale, storage, donation, disposable or installation or use of a clothes washing machine that does not meet the stipulated minimum energy performance standards.

Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Industrial Fans) Regulations, 2022

These Regulations promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in Ghana, mitigating climate change by providing for minimum energy performance standards, the labelling of and supplementary product information on electric mains-operated industrial fans, and the registration of models of industrial fans. The Regulations also prohibit the manufacture, importation, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of industrial fans that do not meet the stipulated minimum energy performance standards.

Energy Commission (Energy Efficiency Standards and Labelling) (Rice Cookers) Regulations, 2022

These Regulations promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in Ghana, mitigating climate change by providing for minimum energy performance standards, the labelling of and supplementary product information on electric mains-operated rice cookers, and the registration of models of rice cookers. The Regulations also prohibit the manufacture, importation, sale, storage, donation, disposal, installation or use of rice cookers that do not meet the stipulated minimum energy performance standards.

These Regulations promote the efficient use and conservation of energy in Ghana, mitigating climate change by providing for minimum energy performance standards, the labelling of and supplementary product information on electric mains-operated water heaters, and the registration of models of electric water heaters.
