Summary

Brazil's Cross-cutting Strategy on Means of Implementation (ETMI) aims to coordinate multiple sources of funding to facilitate the transition to a low-carbon economy. Based on the identification of five priority areas for financing in Brazil—forest restoration, urban resilience, incentives to reduce deforestation, energy transition, and low-carbon agriculture—the ET seeks to align available instruments with the goals of the Climate Plan, establishing a solid foundation to guide climate finance in the country.
