Summary

Brazil's Cross-Cutting Strategy for Monitoring, Management, Evaluation, and Transparency (ET-MGAT) establishes an integrated and adaptive system to monitor the implementation of the Climate Plan. The ET-MGAT assigns a central role to the Interministerial Committee on Climate Change (CIM) in the approval, monitoring, evaluation, and updating of the Plan, reinforcing the commitment to public transparency.

The Strategy is divided into two sections: Section 1 establishes the objectives, management and governance, modalities, and procedures for conducting the Climate Plan’s Monitoring, Evaluation, and Update cycles; Section 2 details the elements to be monitored and evaluated, organized in the form of charts and tables.
